Rev. Graham Ghavalas Perry

Northern Presbytery Transition Leader, Transition Commission

Rev. Graham Ghavalas Perry brings decades of ministry experience across congregational and presbytery settings to his role as Northern Presbytery Transition Leader. His leadership has been shaped by years of pastoral ministry, presbytery governance, Assembly work in Doctrine, Worship and Ecumenism, and strategic work across the Synod of NSW and ACT.

Graham has been closely involved in the Discernment and Stewardship Summits over the past several years, contributing to the Synod’s historic decision to move to a three-Presbytery model designed to strengthen resourcing and support for the whole Church.

Ordained as a Minister of the Word in the Uniting Church in Australia in 1991, Graham has served in a range of ministry placements in Australia and internationally.

Graham holds a BA (Hons) from Macquarie University, a BTh from the United Theological College, and an MTh (with Merit) from the University of Sydney.
